Y ou know people were telling me you started a food blog with others recipe, true! So here I present something of my own. Obviously it is not unique and is very common in Youtube videos yet many people think its tough! I too thought before hand but now whenever milk gets shredded in my house it turns into Rosogolla :) Let me share this easy recipe with you: Rosogolla/Rasgulla Ingredients: Milk -500ml Lemon/Vinegar -1/4 th Maida or Atta - 1/2 tablespoon(for binding) Sugar - 1/2 cup Water - 1/2 a vessel A piece of dry cotton cloth . Recipe: First  of all if your milk has not got shredded then shred it with either adding lemon or vinegar and boil it well turning into Chena or paneer . Let it cool and  strain the water from it. Take a clean piece of cotton cloth add the Chena or paneer to it and folding the cloth round and round squeeze out all the water from it until it gets totally dry(squeeze it dry as much as you can else it will taste like paneer only). Now on a plat...

Hello! Today I have brought a very special recipe  from my mother's cooking diary. A very unique and easy recipe which she has learned in Maharastra from a neighbour long back! From then it has been our one of the favourite food. Most importantly it can go with sauce, chatni and even with Tea!yeah you read it right  with simple Tea it tastes wonders!

SOOJI/RAWA IDLI
Ingredients:
  • Idli making vessel
  • Sooji/Rawa- 500gm
  • Curd- 250 gm
  • Baking soda- 1 pinch
  • Salt-1 pinch
  • Mustard Oil
Procedure:
  • For the batter: Mix Sooji/Rawa, curd, baking soda and salt. Stir it well until perfect consistency. Leave for 5- 10 mins.
  • Take a pot/handi and fill it 1-2 glasses of water(Take care batter should not touch the water when the vessel will be kept in it).
  • Brush the vessel's ditches with oil.
  • Put the batter in the ditches of the vessel.
  • Then put the vessel slowly into the pot/handi containing water. Cover with a lid.
  • Cook for around 10-15 minutes. Uncover the lead and check the idlis with a tooth peak or fork whether it has become fluffy or not.
  • If it is fluffy, off the gas and take out the whole idli vessel.
  • Now slowly remove the idlis from the ditches with a spoon. Ready to serve! As I previously mentioned it goes best with plain sweet Tea!

Do try at home and I bet you will love it! Healthy as well as quick recipe!
