Bengali Home made Rosogolla/Rasgulla

Image
Y ou know people were telling me you started a food blog with others recipe, true! So here I present something of my own. Obviously it is not unique and is very common in Youtube videos yet many people think its tough! I too thought before hand but now whenever milk gets shredded in my house it turns into Rosogolla :) Let me share this easy recipe with you: Rosogolla/Rasgulla Ingredients: Milk -500ml Lemon/Vinegar -1/4 th Maida or Atta - 1/2 tablespoon(for binding) Sugar - 1/2 cup Water - 1/2 a vessel A piece of dry cotton cloth . Recipe: First  of all if your milk has not got shredded then shred it with either adding lemon or vinegar and boil it well turning into Chena or paneer . Let it cool and  strain the water from it. Take a clean piece of cotton cloth add the Chena or paneer to it and folding the cloth round and round squeeze out all the water from it until it gets totally dry(squeeze it dry as much as you can else it will taste like paneer only). Now on a plat...

Never ending Lockdown seeming to be imprisonment with passing days?!

P
erhaps this is the first time humans get the feeling of being in a cage! That too for our own security.  Its been around one and half months of Lockdown due to COVID 19 in India. And the lockdown seems never ending. Perhaps once in a lifetime we have faced such a never ending lockdown. Not even our Grandparents or their Grand parents have faced such a situation in their lives in history.
Is it true that we were never been caged? Well let me put some points to begin the debate :
What about the prisoners?
What about a section of females?
Yes, so human have been imprisoned before also. What has not come to our notice is their mental health! This is the first time a mass of people together getting the taste of being locked up. How is it feeling? Let me share some experiences.
Perhaps for the first few weeks we all got the long time urging vacation. The PM giving us task to perform from home like applauding for the emergency workers at 5 pm on Sunday, then again on another Sunday at 9 pm putting off all the lights and lighting candles, torches. Some even took it as festival and burnt crackers celebrating pre Diwali
Some reviving their old skills like singing, dancing, painting, yoga, cooking , netflixing and what not! We were all chilling out working from home even some government workers getting paid holidays!

But it started taking a turn after three weeks maybe. Although the  beautiful birds and animals seemed coming back, may be thinking the humans have finally left the earth?! But each of us started feeling bored, tired, our souls detecting that the long holiday we aren't enjoying anymore, we have actually being caged. It was a scenery like the animals roaming free outside and visiting the Human zoo!
We perhaps the first time got the taste of:
how animals feel being caged,
how the prisoners live in the imprisonment,

Even some specially abled persons being kept at home thinking they will harm others if we let them out!
if you think deeply, how a part of the female section have been living inside the house since their birth without complaining!
Truly we are getting the taste of being imprisoned. Loosing our temper, reacting on small things, missing our workplace, missing going out, getting into depression in short missing our freedom
Perhaps after the COVID 19 pandemic ends we as a human will start thinking for the animals, the prisoners , the female section and the specially abled people in a more generous way!

Hope this lockdown ends soon and we get back our freedom to live our lives again!
