How to make this Lockdown days useful going Digital?

Lockdown has been extended and may be some of us have started feeling worthless staying at home and doing nothing productive. COVID 19 is taking huge turn so its better to follow the lockdown declared by the government and not to go out! Although many are working from home still there is a lot of time to feel bored! Being locked up inside the house for such a long time is degrading our mental health. So in this post I decided to share a way to make these continuously increasing lockdown days productive! How? By going Digital!

We all are in a digital era! From a 4 year child to 80 year person every one is using technology! We play games, surf net, click pictures , make videos and so much more! But normally a person only  uses this technology.
How many of us think and try to find out like how the videos on YouTube are being made?
How the games are made?
How the pictures are being clicked?
What are the tools being used?
Where are the tools coming from?
Many of you may be thinking this is so childish, definitely they use some kind of app! Yes they do use apps.

We all come from a particular background like some may be engineers , doctors, MBA, learnt chemistry, physics, nursing and many others. But maximum of us keep our knowledge bounded to our particular stream. We all want to stay ahead of the competition.
Now getting such a long quarantine period along with the Digital world at the tips of our finger, don't you feel this is the right opportunity to expand our Digital Knowledge?! Correct?
Whatever may be your age gaining knowledge and updating skills with passing time is always helpful!

So let me share some online sites where you can learn new skills that too for free!
Even some give certificates which you can use in your job profile! Like:

  • Google Digital Garage! Link Here you can find so many skills to learn for free. Some companies may charge money still there are lots to learn for free.
  • University of Oxford! Link

  • SkillShare! Link
  • Coursera! Link
  • Alison! Link and many more.
Of course you can search directly on YouTube Link like if you ever got the thought how a search engine works? You can search for SEO or SEM and know about them or if you wanna know how a website works you can learn about PHP and HTML web developing and make your own website or you can learn about the basics of gaming, even start coding. And who knows at the end of the lockdown period you may launch your own game! Even G-suite certification course provided by Google helps to keep our skills up to date.
Not only these you can learn how to play guitar, traditional dance forms, painting basics, graphic designing, home decorating and what not!

So what are you waiting for? Go and explore the digital world! Learn new skills. Apply for internships and start earning! Or maybe a little show off to others later?!:)

Do share your views in the comment box. I would love to hear from you! And if you already loved  it then give a follow up and share to others! Have a great day ahead! :)
